How it works
Idaho has a work-sharing agreement with the EEOC. A charge filed with Idaho Human Rights Commission is generally also considered filed with the EEOC ("dual-filed"), and vice versa. You usually only need to file once.
Key notes
Idaho's state law closely tracks federal protections. The lower employer threshold of 5 employees extends some coverage to small businesses not reached by federal law. The 1-year deadline to the IHRC is generous.
